OVERLOAD: Display "Err" when capacity, or pre-weight is over the permitting range when turning on the scale, or the scale, or the scales inner code including weights and pre-weights (i.E.:container) is over the permitting range. 4. AUTO LOCK: Lock the Value after the readings are stable for 2 sec., then it will light the look icon, and then unlock 5 sec. later; Alternative function ( immediately unlocking when the weighing value varies over "+-10") 5. AUTO OFF: Auto-turn off when the reading sustairs ( or the variation is less than 10) and prolongs to the pre-setting auto off time. 6. TARE: All weights including the pan/try on the scale will be regarded as the value of the pan/try when turning on the scale (ON/OFF), and it will display "0,0g". The value can be tared to "0,0g" by pressing the TARE-button when some weights on the pan.TARE function can be used repeatedly, but the displaying "0,0g" is regarded as weighing value which has no zero-track function. It will display the negative figure after the tared weight on the pan/try is removed (counter weighing). The negative figure also can be tared. 7. UNIT BUTTON: Press the "UNIT"-button to switch from gram to ounces, penny weight, troy ounces, carats and grains one by one. B 1.) FAST Calibration 1. Turn on the scale, it will display "0,0". 2. Place the standard 100g weight on the pan gently, and wait for the stable readings. 3. 100g = 10x 2euro + 2 x 1euro Coin 4. Keep pressing the key "TARE" for more than 5 sec., it will enter into fast fast calibration state. 5. The digits of "100,0" will be showed from left to right successively, and then blink the display on time. 6. Fast calibration step is finished. B 2.) Parameter setting and calibration 1. Press ON/OFF button for 5 sec. to enter the calibration mode, the display now is the inner code ("5000-7000"), then load 100g standard weights on the scale (the inner code now increased to "3000-5000") and wait for the display remaining stable. 2. Press the calibration button to set the relevant division number, it will shine as follows: 0 0 0 0 >>>> set to 1 0 0 0 Selecting the digit to adjust by circulating the TARE button ( the selecting digit will twinkle),press the UNIT button to adjust the figure on by one . 3. Press the calibration button again, the scale will display four digits. It may show the original parameter as follows: X 1 1 X >>>> set to 6 1 1 6 4. Press the calibration button again, the scale will display four digits. It may show the original parameters as follows: 8 2 5 X >>>> set to 8 2 5 0 NOTE: The first parameter "8" cannot be changed at any time 5. Pressing the calibration button again, the scales will show Version No. H8x.x 6. Calibration is finished, the scale will turn off. Calibration Manual for Mini-Scale PS ONEfifty 150g x 0,1g 1. Keyboard a) ON/OFF: the key is for "turn on" and "Turn off". (When turning on, it shows "8888" you can also use "ON/OFF" to turn off the scale at the same time.) (keep pressing "On/Off" for more than 5 seconds, then the key "ON/OFF" becomes to the calibration key.) b) Tare: For using "Tare"(negative readings can also be tared). In calibration state, this key "tare" means "turn right for the digit byte". c) Pressing "g/oz" means the unit system from "g" to "oz". In calibration state, this key means add the parameter one by one. 2. Specification a) Division number: 1500. Division value: 1 Decimal byte: 1 Weight Unit: g Weighing speed: 2 seconds Auto-shut off: 60seconds. Have Zero-tracking Function. 2. Function to use a) Turning on Mode: show "8888" for 3-6 seconds, then it shows "0.0", which means the scale is in weighting state. (If after above operation for a period of time, the scale doesn't show "0.0", please put the scale on a stable object to make it enter weighting state, it will display 0.0g) b) Auto-Zero-Setting when turning on, the scale has "Zero-tracking" function at this moment. c) Low-Voltage Alarm: when the voltage is less than 4.8V, the scale shows "Lo" for 2 seconds and then it will be Auto-turn off, after you change the batteries, you could use the scale to weigh again. You'd better change batteries in spite of you can go on weighing when the scale shows the symbol of "Battery" which means low-voltage in weighting state. d) Overload show: it shows "Err" when capacity+9d(it can also enter to calibration state at the same time), or the pre-weights are more than the permitting range when turning on the scale, or the scale's interior numerical value including weights and pre-weights (e.g. container) are over 65000. e) Auto-Lock function: Weighing value is locked after the value is stable for 2 seconds, then it shows "H", then the value will be unlocked 5 seconds later ( this function is optional). The value would be unlocked immediately if the change of weight exceeds ¡À10D while the value is being locked. f) Auto-turn off function: You can set different time from 30seconds to 240 seconds (Optional) to make the scale Auto-turn off when the readings are stable or the change of readings in 10D. g) Tare-function: All weights including the pan on the scale are calculated as value of a pan and it displays "0.0g" when turning on the scale(press "ON/OFF"). Then the value will show "0.0" by pressing the key "Tare" if you put some weights on the pan, this "Tare function" can be repeated for several times. Under this state, the value is regarded as a weight which has no track-function. After using the tare function, if the object on the scale is moved away, it will show a negative value which can also be tared to display "0.0". h) Weighing Unit System Convert: Press "g/oz to convert the unit system from "g" to "oz". i) You could choose the display priority for "g" or "oz" by the choice switch of "g" and "oz" in PCB Board. 3. Calibration Step (the principal to calibrate scales: after the scale is in calibration state, you can choose different byte (flash) by pressing "Tare", and press "g/oz" to choose every byte's parameter to add one by one.) a). Enter calibration state after keeping pressing "ON/OFF" for more than 5 seconds, then it shows the scale's interior numerical value (300-1300). Load a 100g weight on the scale (the interior numerical value would add by 500-1500) and wait for a while it displays stably. 1. Press the Calibration key "ON/OFF" to set the relevant division number to 100g weight as follow (the choosing byte flash): 0 0 0 0 Make it to display 1000 by the key "Tare" and "g/oz" 2. Press Calibration key "ON/OFF", four bytes value are as follow: 5 1 1 0 If not, make it to display "5110" by the key "Tare" and "g/oz" 3. Press Calibration key "ON/OFF", the four bytes values are as follow: 8 2 5 5 If not, make it to display "8255" by the key "Tare" and "g/oz" 4. Press Calibration key "ON/OFF", then the scale shows "0" or the mark of the manufacturer "HX.X", it will be Auto-turn off 2 seconds later, so far the calibration step is finished. Operation Introduction for Mini-Scale 1. The preparation for weighing: Input batteries. Open the cover and revolve the cover by 180¡ã which is horizontal, (or push the cover to the bottom). You need to prevent air current, difference in temperature and vibration, which can make influence on the accuracy of weighing value. Press "ON"(on/off), it shows "0.0" and the Unit of Symbol ("g" or "oz") after a few seconds. It is entering Weighing State. (If "0.0" couldn't be stable, normally which is caused by preheated for enough time, please press "on" again for one time or two times. 2.Weighing: Put some weights on the scale, it will show the increasing value progressively. Then it shows "H", which means the value is locked for stability. 5 seconds later the value will be unlocked. If the change of weights exceed ¡À10D the value is unlocked immediately at the value's locking state. Remove all the weights in time after weighing. 3. Turn off: Press the key "ON/OFF". 4.Auto-turn off: Auto-turn off when the change of weight is less than 10D in 60 seconds (optional in 240 seconds.). 5.Overload show: The maxim Capacity is150g, the division is 0.1g. The overload situation is as follow (the scale displays "Err"): a) Weights are more +9D than maxim capacity (150g) b) If the very light container is put on the scale when turning on the scale, the value of the container will not be calculated in the range of 150g. Remark: The container must be as light as possible; otherwise the scale will display "Err" after turning on. 6.Low-Voltage Hint: when the voltage is less than 4.8V, the scale shows "Lo" for 2 seconds and then it will be Auto-turn off, after you change the batteries, you could use the scale to weigh again. You'd better change batteries in spite of you can keep weighing when the scale shows the symbol of "Battery" which means low-voltage in weighting state. 7.Tare: Press "Tare" if a weight is put on the scale, after you press the key "Tare", it will show "0.0", this operation can be repeat for several times. After removing all the weights on the scale, it shows the negative value that can also be tared. 8. Pressing "g/oz" means the unit system from "g" to "oz". NOTE: Open the cover and revolve the cover by 180¡ã which is horizontal, (or push the cover to the bottom). Turn the scale on and wait at least 30 seconds to warm up, otherwise the readings may be inaccurate. When the weight capacity of this product is exceeded (more than 150g) or the scale is dropped, you can permanently damage the scale. The readout may jump slightly due to the extreme sensitivity of this scale, make sure that the scale is not exposed to any bad environment such as extra temperature, humidity, vibration, air current etc., and placed on a flat surface before you are weighing an object. If the scale ever reads "Lo", please replace batteries. The scale needs to recalibrate, please refer to the calibration manual.
